Rigomagno

Rigomagno is a Tuscan village of rare beauty surrounded by olive trees and beautiful landscapes and located on the top of a hill of limestone and sandstone about 400 meters in height ....... which is surrounded by ancient walls. Its historical importance has been documented already in the writings discussing Rigomagno mail as a fortress to defend the border of the Republic of Siena in the epic battles between Florence and Siena. History

The first reliable information on the presence of Rigomagno is the eleventh century , and relates to the settlement of accounts for Scialenga .
